\Philadelphia based Art consulting firm Revolvd LLC was founded in 2016 by Eric Preisendanz following his 5 year career in leadership positions in a non-profit health organization and later commercial property management. Holding a BFA from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Eric established Revolvd LLC to provide diverse creative advisory services to commercial and private clients needing a wide range of solutions and services.

Securing an nationally ranked cancer treatment clinic as his first exhibition client, Eric further developed himself in the role of Treasurer of Little Berlin, an artist-run gallery collective, and also served on the University Of The Arts Alumni Council. While serving, Eric was selected to judge and curate multiple University of the Arts exhibitions and auctions, while privately developing client relationships with local developers. By designing exhibitions, commissioning murals, and building outside collaborations, Eric developed new and repeating clients and collectors in upcoming neighborhoods, including Spring Arts and the gallery activation of an office building foyer. His impact was also felt in Kensington where he helped envision and make real “Kensington StreetPlay”, a community-led theatrical performance by Renegade Theatre Company debuting at the Fringe Festival in 2018 after 13 months of community workshops held at Mural Art’s Kensington Storefront.

At this time, Eric also co-founded Philly Stewards, an organization dedicated to the support of local contemporary art collecting. Philly Stewards then published the first  physical map of Philly’s 99 galleries before beginning the ‘Artist Census’, a deep dive into statistics that revealed patterns and data clusters defining the relationship between an artist’s income and their experience. The data was synthesized and presented to staff and leadership at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

In 2019, Eric was offered the opportunity to establish the beginning collection for display at The Civic, a mixed use residential building in an up and coming neighborhood.  While building programming around the collection, Eric also designed and installed a store front sign for a neighborhood retailer and designed and installed a gallery space for a small business with pristine walls hoping to present local artists.

From lecturing in universities about art business, building photo booths at stadium hip hop festivals, serving non profit boards and producing Fringe Festival theatre pieces, organizing fine art benefit auctions, fundraisers, and galas, securing art collections and designing gallery programs that engage client audiences, designing maps and researching industry insights, Eric’s list of accomplishments reflects his deep ambition and commitment to the arts.

Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art. Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art.”
